Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 31, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Scalabridge LLC (“Scalabridge LLC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our website, submit a form, request a quote, book or manage an appointment, or otherwise communicate with us.
By using this website you agree to this Privacy Policy. Please also review our Terms of Service, which govern your use of our website and of our SMS program.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to respond to you and deliver the services you request. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:
- Name — first and last name, and where relevant an on-site contact name.
- Email address — used to reply to enquiries and send service updates.
- Phone number — always optional on our contact form, and used only for the purposes you have agreed to.
- Appointment information — requested service type, preferred dates and time windows, service address, site access details, urgency, scheduling history, confirmations, and reminders.
- Contact and business information — company name, mailing or service address, city, state, and ZIP code.
- Website and form submission information — the contents of any form you submit, including messages, descriptions of work, uploaded photos or documents, the date and time of submission, and the page the form was submitted from.
- SMS consent records — whether you ticked each SMS consent checkbox, the exact wording you agreed to, the version of that wording, and the date and time consent was given.
- Technical information — IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, and pages viewed.
- Account information — where you register as a client or vendor, your login credentials (stored in encrypted form), role, and account activity.
- Any other information you voluntarily submit — anything you choose to include in a message, document, photo, or other communication to us.
We do not require you to provide a phone number in order to contact us, and we do not require SMS consent in order to use our website or purchase our services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
- Responding to your enquiries, questions, and quote requests.
- Scheduling, coordinating, and managing appointments and service visits.
- Providing the services you have requested, including dispatching qualified service professionals.
- Sending appointment confirmations, reminders, and status updates.
- Sending notifications and alerts where you have provided consent to receive them.
- Sending marketing or promotional messages, but only where you have separately and specifically opted in to receive them.
- Providing customer support and resolving service issues.
- Processing invoices, payments, and vendor payouts.
- Maintaining records of consent and communication preferences.
- Improving our website, forms, and services, and understanding how they are used.
- Detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Complying with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
3. SMS / Text Message Communications
Scalabridge LLC operates two separate, independent SMS programs. You may opt in to either, both, or neither.
- Marketing / promotional SMS — promotional messages, notifications, and alerts. Message frequency may vary (up to 4 messages/month).
- Non-marketing appointment SMS — appointment information, confirmations, and reminders. Message frequency varies based on appointments booked.
How opt-in works
- SMS consent is entirely voluntary. You opt in by actively ticking a consent checkbox on our forms.
- Both consent checkboxes are unchecked by default. We never pre-select them for you and we never treat an unticked box as consent.
- The two checkboxes are separate. You may choose to receive marketing/promotional SMS without receiving appointment SMS, or the other way around.
- SMS consent is not required to contact us, to request a quote, to book an appointment, or to use or purchase any of our services. Providing a phone number is optional.
- You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages in that program.
- You may request help by replying HELP to any message, by emailing support@scalabridge.com, or by calling (855) 752-7579.
- Message & data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Users must be 18 years of age or older to participate in the SMS program.
The exact consent wording we use
These are the two consent statements presented on our Contact Us form and on our service request forms. Both are optional and neither is pre-selected:
Marketing / promotional SMS consent (optional):
I consent to receive SMS notifications, alerts, and appointment-related messages (e.g., "promotional", "notifications", "alerts") from Scalabridge LLC. Message frequency may vary (up to 4 messages/month). Message & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for assistance. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time.
Non-marketing appointment SMS consent (optional):
I consent to receive non-marketing text messages from Scalabridge LLC regarding appointment information, confirmations, and reminders. Message frequency varies based on appointments booked. Message & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for assistance. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time.
Consent records we keep
When you tick a consent checkbox, we record your name, email address, phone number (if you provided one), which consent checkbox you selected, the exact consent wording and version you agreed to, and the date and time of your submission. We keep these records so we can honour your preferences and demonstrate that consent was given. If a checkbox is left unticked, no consent is recorded for that program.
4. SMS Consent — No Sharing with Third Parties
SMS opt-in data, consent information, and phone numbers will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
No mobile information, SMS opt-in data, or consent record collected by Scalabridge LLC is shared with, sold to, or rented to any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This applies to all categories of SMS consent we collect.
The only exception is that we use a licensed SMS delivery provider (a communications platform such as Twilio) purely to transmit messages on our behalf. That provider acts as our service provider, may only process the information to deliver our messages, and is not permitted to use your phone number or consent information for its own marketing.
5. How We Share Other Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service professionals and vendors — where you have requested a service, we share the details needed to complete that job (such as the service address, scope of work, and an on-site contact) with the assigned vendor.
- Service providers — hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery, payment processing, and analytics providers who process information on our behalf under contract, and only for the purposes we specify.
- Legal and safety — where required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Scalabridge LLC, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the protections in this Privacy Policy.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser.
We use cookies for the following purposes:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to function: signing you in, keeping your session active, remembering shopping cart contents, and protecting forms against spam and cross-site request forgery. These cannot be switched off through our site.
- Preference cookies — remember choices you have made, such as previously entered form values or display preferences.
- Performance and caching cookies — help pages load quickly and help us identify errors.
- Analytics cookies — where analytics are enabled, they help us understand which pages are visited, how visitors arrived, and how our forms perform, so we can improve them. Analytics data is used in aggregate and is not used to send you marketing SMS.
Managing cookies. Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their settings, and let you refuse cookies from specific sites. Instructions are available in the help section of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of our website — including account login and form submission — from working correctly.
Do Not Track. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for interpreting these signals, our website does not currently respond to them.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect from unauthorised access, misuse, alteration, loss, or disclosure. These include:
- Encryption of data in transit using HTTPS/TLS across the website, including all forms.
- Storage of account passwords in salted, hashed form — never as readable text.
- Role-based access controls, so staff and vendors only see the information needed for their role.
- Restricted administrative access, with accounts limited to authorised personnel.
- Regular software, plugin, and security updates, plus routine encrypted backups.
- Vetting of the service providers who process information on our behalf.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately at support@scalabridge.com.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — typically for the duration of our relationship with you plus any period required for legal, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. SMS consent and opt-out records are retained for as long as required to demonstrate compliance with telecommunications regulations, even after you opt out, so that we can continue to honour your opt-out.
9. Your Rights and Choices
You may, at any time and free of charge:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction or updating of information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Request deletion of your information, where we are not required to retain it by law or for an ongoing service, contract, or dispute.
- Withdraw or change your communication preferences for any channel — email, SMS, or phone.
- Opt out of SMS communications by replying STOP to any message from us, or by emailing support@scalabridge.com. Opting out of marketing SMS does not opt you out of appointment SMS, and the reverse is also true — tell us which programs you want to leave, or reply STOP within the relevant program.
- Unsubscribe from marketing email using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and request a portable copy of information you provided to us, where applicable law grants those rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@scalabridge.com or use our Contact Us form. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users must be 18 years of age or older to participate in the SMS program. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-Party Websites
Our website may link to third-party websites we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing information to them.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle SMS consent will be reflected here and in our Terms of Service. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
